A country-based jockey has been disqualified for improper conduct, a Racing NSW statement said.
Adam Gain was disqualified for six months at a stewards’ inquiry into an incident on the night before the famous Louth race meeting in western NSW earlier this month.
The inquiry heard evidence from stablehand Scott Spackman and Wagga Wagga trainer Chris Heywood as well as Gain.
Gain pleaded not guilty. His riding ban will end on February 6.
